Detroit Tigers lead trader consensus at 47% implied probability for the 2026 AL Central crown, fueled by their 2024 playoff surge, Cy Young ace Tarik Skubal's dominance, and a deep farm system headlined by Jackson Jobe, positioning them for sustained contention. Kansas City Royals follow at 29.5%, buoyed by Bobby Witt Jr.'s MVP-caliber play and rotation upgrades, though bullpen questions linger post-2024 Wild Card run. Cleveland Guardians sit at 16% after clinching the 2024 division but face uncertainty with Shane Bieber's recovery and lineup inconsistencies. Minnesota Twins (9.5%) grapple with injury-prone stars like Royce Lewis, while Chicago White Sox (6%) remain mired in rebuild after a dismal 121-loss campaign, underscoring the Tigers' youth and momentum as key differentiators.
